Your email. One purpose.

When you join this waiting list, Corné van Willigen uses your email address to send updates about the publication and launch of The Email Standard. Joining does not subscribe you to a separate newsletter.

What we store

Your email address, the time you joined, and a record of your request for book updates are stored in a dedicated Cloudflare D1 database. Email addresses are encrypted before storage. Duplicate signups are combined.

Keeping the form secure

Cloudflare hosts this website and provides Turnstile to help prevent automated signups. Turnstile processes technical browser and network information for this security check. We keep temporary anonymous rate-limit identifiers rather than raw IP addresses in the waiting-list database. This site has no advertising trackers.

Website analytics

We use Umami analytics, hosted on our own Railway account, to understand which pages people visit, referral sources, approximate location, browser and device type. Umami does not use tracking cookies. We exclude URL query strings and fragments, and do not send form values to analytics. Analytics honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser settings.

Leaving the list

To leave the list, request a copy of your data, or ask for your email to be deleted, contact corne@vanwilligen.eu using the address you signed up with. Waiting-list entries are removed after 24 months unless deleted sooner.
